We are exploring allowing users to preview more types of attachments, not just images.
Today, you will just see a file icon if the attachment is not an image, but we are exploring adding support for common file types that are attached to notes, including:
- txt / rtf - image preview
- pdf - image preview
- doc / docx - image preview
- ppt / pptx - image preview
- video files - inline playback (with thumbnail)
- audio files - inline playback (no thumbnail)
Additionally, we're also looking to enable searching for text content within the attachments.
Tell us, what specific features or use cases would you like to see addressed?

please accept .mov as video library upload. For macOS users relying on out-of-the-box software (Screen Capture, Quicktime) today we need to use a mov->mp4 converter or manually change the file extension

Search text in pictures

As I need to attend many different calls, where participants are presenting content via slides, I often screenshot the specific slides (even though I get the PPT link afterwards). If I need to search afterwards (weeks, month) later for specific content, it is sometimes hard to find the right information fast. Here an intelligent search (including text from pictures or attachments) would help to find the related information faster.

Embed PDFs in note like a Google Doc

The designers are creating agendas for our meetings and typically share them as PDFs before the meetings. If there was an easy way to show the already-created PDF agenda as an image in a note, it would save us some time in recreating the agenda in Fellow. I know that we can create a link to a Google drive, but seeing the agenda in the Fellow note would be helpful. We have been taking meeting notes within Fellow which has been very helpful for sharing among our internal team. At this time we don't give the design team access to Fellow, and we don't mandate that they use it.
